(Shanghai, July 27, 2023) The Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization recently released its 2023 Shanghai Innovative Product Recommendation Catalog. The HL125S High-Steel Grade Sulfur Resistant Drill Rod for Complex Wells in Sulfur-rich Oil and Gas Field independently developed by Shanghai Hilong Oil Drilling Tools Co., Ltd. was included in the catalog, making it a key recommended innovative product in Shanghai.
HL125S is one of Hilong's independently developed 'three high' series products and features higher steel grade, high strength, high torsional resistance, and high sulfur resistance. It effectively addresses the performance bottlenecks of drill pipes that are used in harsh oil recovery environments, including issues such as hydrogen sulfide-resistant stress corrosion performance, insufficient torsional strength, and poor hydraulic performance, particularly in sulfur-rich deep wells, ultra-deep wells, and large-displacement wells. This product has significantly improved the safety and reliability of drilling and production in deep wells and complex wells in harsh H2S gas reservoirs environments.
