November 17th, 2014, Texas, USA——Hilong Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary Texas Internal Pipe Coating LLC (TIPC) this month has realized a new milestone in internal coating technology through its successful application of internal coatings to line pipes with mechanical connections up to 12 inches in diameter.
Previously, internal coatings for hot cured pipe had a maximum application diameter of 6 inches.
The recent project overseen by TIPC involved a variety of line pipes with diameters of 12 inches, 8 inches, and 4 inches. TIPC, with its state-of-the-art technology and experienced personnel, successfully coated pipes up to 12-3/4 inches of diameter.
“This technology breakthrough will bring more business to TIPC while in the meantime provide better service and more choices to our customers,” said Hilong Chief Sales Officer Liu Song. “TIPC will transmit the experience and technology to the other 12 Hilong coating plants worldwide. This will bring a revolutionary change to the group's coating business.”
