(June 12th, 2018, Shanghai) In order to comprehensively implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the Hilong Group Party Committee convened the party congress to elect committee members at the expiration of the term of office. Mr. Gao Zhihai was elected as the secretary of the new Party Committee on June 8th in accordance with the Constitution of the Communist Party of China, Provisional Regulations on the Election of Primary-level Organization of the CPC and other relevant internal stipulations of the Party.

All party members heard and reviewed the work report of the previous Party Committee of Hilong Group at the congress, and elected five committee members for the new Party Committee through a secret ballot and balanced elections. Gao Zhihai, Secretary of the Party Committee said that he would unite and lead the members of the new Party Committee to strengthen Party building work and improve the political accomplishments of the party members with reference to the requirements of “comprehensively strengthening Party discipline”. He would steadily promote foundation work for Party building and talent team development, and actively implement and take the lead in starting a new undertaking by closely focusing on the core work of enterprise operation.

Hilong Group’s CEO, Mr. Wang Tao, congratulated the successful conclusion of the congress and said that Hilong Group’s executive and management team would continue to support Party building work, and effectively integrate Party building work into its production and operations. The executive and management team would also promote the respected brand image of Hilong, while striving to strongly develop Hilong Group’s Party building activity.

While giving a speech at the congress, Mr. Lei Shuguang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Administrative Committee of Baoshan Industrial Park, spoke highly of the efforts made by the previous Hilong Party Committee, and the honor and achievements of it being given the title, “Shanghai Advanced Primary Party Organization”. He put forward three expectations for the new Party Committee and combined it with the work for the next stage: First, enhance the foundation and strengthen the leadership; second, strengthen confidence and promote new development; third, implement innovative practices and enhance influence. He wished that the new leadership team would stay true to the mission and accomplish it successfully, and lead all Hilong Party members and the public to create better results and a better future in the development journey of Hilong Group.
